If you're wondering how to transition from one-to-one brick & mortar style coaching, consulting or counseling to running an online group program, that’s what we’re covering in this episode.
Today, we have one of my clients, Suzanne Dietrich Registered Dietitian and owner of Gut Instincts Nutrition Counselling sharing with us about her journey of moving from a one-to-one client business model to adding in a group program to her practice.
Suzanne has found that it’s an amazing way to offer clients flexibility in their schedules while giving them the information, support and community they need to help them with their health.
Here’s what we talked about:
The first thing in growing your business is the desire to support people. The best products or programs that we sell are the ones that come from a true need. Having an online program can make that happen in a way that works for you and your business as you reach people all over the world who are looking for your support, expertise and answer to what they're struggling with.
Suzanne Dietrich is a Registered Dietitian and the owner of Gut Instincts Nutrition Counselling in Uptown Waterloo. She specializes in empowering people (of all ages) to unfold their own definition of health, and develop a way of eating that is sustainable and makes sense for them, be that through intuitive eating, improved gut health or eating disorder recovery. She started her career in the not for profit social sector after obtaining her degree in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo. After 10 years working in a variety of roles in community settings she returned to school to study nutrition at Ryerson University. She worked for 8 years in primary care and then started doing her private practice soley over 2 years ago. She sees clients in her clinics in Waterloo & Guelph. She is a Mama of 2 boys who have taught her much about eating and inspired her to develop a new online course with a colleague called Growing Intuitive Eaters.
Suzanne believes that all foods fit and the best way of eating for everyone is one that takes into nutrition but just as importantly access, time, life situation/trauma, health conditions, financial ability, food skills, sustainability, preference and pleasure.
